Site history
The Iconfactory was officially created in April of 1996 to be a one–stop spot for Macintosh users to download well designed, fun icons free of charge. The site was created by three designers/friends: Gedeon Maheux, Corey Marion and Talos Tsui as a storehouse for their graphical work. Over the course of a year, The Iconfactory has risen to be one of the most popular Mac interface enhancement web sites around. The Iconfactory currently logs close to 15,000 hits a week and has been a partner in the MacAddict Network of web sites since its inception early 1997. The Iconfactory is dedicated to creating quality freeware icons and useful interface enhancement utilities for the common Macintosh user.
